Hague, FL, Feb 1972

View is toward the northwest from Hague, 3.5 miles southwest of Burnetts Lake - along ACL's old Jacksonville to St. Petersburg route (via Gainesville and Ocala). Date of photo is Feb. 6, 1972. Last passenger train to pass here was about 10 months earlier - northbound SCL No. 94 (a section of the City of Miami) mid-afternoon of April 30, 1971, the day before Amtrak's first day. Consist of SCL 94 on that last day was one engine and six cars. Normal consist was an engine plus 4 cars (baggage, grill car, coach and sleeper).
